Check Valves are automatic shut-off valves that are commonly used for preventing backflow or drainage in a pipe system.Often applied on the discharge side of pumps,check valves prevent the system from draining if the pump stops and protects against backflow, which could harm the pump and/or other equipment.

Swing Check Valve has a flat disc that pivots or swings about a hinge pin. They are low cost, and have low head loss characteristics when fully open. But because of the long stroke and inertia of the disc, the traditional swing check valve may slam in vertical pipe installations. These valves are therefore sometimes outfitted with a lever and weight accessoryy. They can handle liquids with solids such as wastewater.

• Wafer Type Check Valve weighs much less as compared to the conventional flanged end swing check valves.
• Due to Short Overall length it can be easily installed in horizontal or in vertical pipeline without any special pipe support.
• The seat is fitted in the body in order to prevent contact with the flow,which results in longer life of the seat.
• Our wafer type check valve has minimum head loss due to large size of the orifice. The large orifice reduces head loose of the pump and thus saves energy.
• Short face-to-face dimension of the valve makes it easy to install between standard gasket and line flanges
