Low Liquid Load Structured Packing For Distillation Columns For Absorption
Plastic wire gauze packings is made from admixture knit mesh of Polypropylene wire and Polyacrylonitrile wire, therefore it has good chemical stability. The packing is prepared in 150-250mm cylinders and should be fully filled on the tower section. The packing is corrosion resistant and light(only 120kg per cubic meter).

Application:
The packing is suitable for absorbing process with pressure
0.1-100Kpa under normal temperature and countercurrent flow
reclaiming process with low liquid spray loading e.g. purification
of waste gas, etc. It is usually used in low temperature (lower
than 80℃) to absorb NH3, HCl and SO2 or water soluble solvents like
acetone, acrylonitrile, methanol, alcohol, methanal, etc, as well
as in the absorption of strong off odor matter like amine,
thioalcohol and so on. Consequently it has a good effect in
environmental protection field.
