25KA Low Voltage Surge Protector Working Principle:
• Under normal circumstances, the surge protector is in a state of
high resistance, thus ensuring the normal operation of the power
system.
• When there is a surge voltage or current on the system line, the
high resistance of SPD changes to the low resistance, and SPD
immediately conducts to the ground within nanosecond, releasing the
surge energy to the earth through SPD.
• After the surge, the surge protector quickly returns to the high
resistance state, so as not to affect the normal power supply of
the system.
25KA Low Voltage Surge Protector Installation:
• Class I surge protector is suitable for LPZOA area of lightning
strike or interface between LPZOB and LPZ1 area.
• It is installed in parallel in the main distribution inlet panel
at the low-voltage entry end of transformer, the distribution box
with overhead input in the building, the outdoor distribution
cabinet/distribution box and other positions.
