Scope:
1: BR-40 series SPD is suitably used in the TT, TN-S, TN-C, IT,
TN-C-S and etc. power supply system of AC 50/60HZ.
2: AC power line of house, bank, and telecom tower and so on.
3: Suitable for system power protection, such as power distribution
cabinet, switch cabinet, switch cabinet, AC distribution board,
etc.
4: Applied in modular SPD Class II (Class C) for power supply
system.
5: BR-40 SPD to protect from direct and indirect lightning impulse
and other transient over voltage.
6: Distribution box with outdoor input in the building and each
floor

Installation:
• The type 2 arresters must install into sub-distribution boards
after main distribution boards containing type 1 arresters.
• For proper operation between type 1 and type 2 arresters at least
10- 15 m cable or wire must be otherwise a decoupling coil have to
install between the two devices.
• In areas where storms are frequent, it is strongly recommended to
install additional protection systems.
