Versatile Y configuration, wide range of sizes, and durable stainless steel construction allow for many different applications. Body, cap, and plug are made from stainless steel to ensure reliability in harsh conditions. Seal is constructed of PTFE to ensure long service life. Stainless steel strainer provides excellent filtration to help prevent damage to valves, meters, etc. from rust and dirt, without sacrificing high flow characteristics.
Y-strainers help protect valuable downstream equipment - like pumps, steam traps, regulators and measuring devices - which might be damaged by contaminants.
