Low Expansion Alloy Invar 36 Material Rod /Bar For Thermostats
1 . Descriptions:
Invar 36 is a nickel-iron alloy that contains 36% nickel and possesses a rate of thermal expansion approximately one-tenth that of carbon steel. Alloy 36 maintains nearly constant dimensions over the range of normal atmospheric temperatures, and has a low coefficient of expansion from cryogenic temperatures to about 500°F. This nickel iron alloy also retains good strength and toughness at cryogenic temperatures.
In addition, Invar 36® can be hot formed, cold formed or machined using processes similar to austenitic stainless steels.

5 . Characteristic:
36 alloy is a special ultra-low coefficient of heat expansion of
low-iron-nickel alloy. One of carbon and manganese element of
control is very important. Cold deformation can reduce the
coefficient of thermal expansion, in particular within the
framework of the heat treatment temperature coefficient of thermal
expansion will enable stabilization. Has the following
characteristics:

temperature of -250°C and 200°C.
