KNT600 online turbidity meter turbidity sensor water treatment
Production Introduction
The turbidity meter KXTX00 series,an online measuring instrument
designed for the concentration of suspended solids.
The optical system of the turbidimeter consists of a tungsten
filament lamp, a 90° detector for monitoring scattered light and a
transmission light detector.The turbidimeter microprocessor
calculates the signal ratio from the 90° detector and the
transmission photodetector.The ratio calculation technique can
correct the interference caused by chromaticity and light-absorbing
substances (such as activated carbon) and compensate the influence
caused by the fluctuation of light intensity, providing long-term
calibration stability.The optical system of turbidimeter also
requires to reduce the drifting light and improve the accuracy of
test.
After the light wave sent by the transmitter on the turbidimeter
sensor passes through the absorption, reflection and scattering of
the measured objects in the transmission process, part of the
transmitted light can illuminate the detector in the direction of
180° and part of the scattered light scatters to the detector in
the direction of 90°.The light intensity received on the 180° and
90° direction detector has a certain relationship with the
turbidity of the measured sewage, so the turbidity of the sewage
can be calculated by measuring the intensity of transmitted light
and scattered light.

The sensors of the turbidity meter are mainly divided into three
categories according to the different measuring ranges
Throw-in single beam sensor is suitable for turbidity measurement
less than 1000NTU,
The signal is transmitted and received at a 90° right angle,
Use the scattered light generated by the colloidal particles
suspended in water to calculate the turbidity value,
The input sensor is simple to use, easy to install and easy to
maintain.

NTU
The unit of turbidity is "degree", which is equivalent to the
degree of turbidity produced by 1L water containing 1mg SiO2 (or
white clay, diatomite), which is 1 degree, or Jackson.Turbidity
unit is JTU, 1JTU=1mg/L white clay suspension.
The turbidity shown by modern instruments is the unit of scattering
turbidity NTU, also known as TU.1NTU= 1JTU.
Recently, it is considered internationally that the standard of
turbidity prepared with ullotropin-hydrazine sulfate has good
reproducibility and is chosen as the uniform standard of
