KSS591 Infrared Methane Gas Sensor Module
KSS591 is a gas sensor module using NDIR infrared absorption detection principle, which determines the concentration according to the radiation absorption of infrared light source by CH4 gas. KSS591 adopts imported light source, optical cavity with special structure and dual-channel detector to realize space dual optical path reference compensation, and microprocessor for signal acquisition, processing and output. KSS591 has good selectivity, high sensitivity, no oxygen dependence, long life, low power consumption; Built-in temperature sensor for temperature compensation; At the same time, it has UART, 485 (modbus user selectable protocol) output and 4~20mA analog current/voltage output; Convenient for customers for various applications.

The sensor should be calibrated regularly, not more than 3 months is recommended.
Do not use the sensor for a long time in an environment with a high density of dust.
