KVS100 Series Vibrating Fork Liquid / Solid Level Switch
Introduction
KVS100 series tuning fork level switch is a new type of level switch. It is
designed and manufactured using the principle of tuning fork
vibration. It is the base of the induction rod of the tuning fork
level switch. The tuning fork is driven by the piezoelectric wafer,
and the vibration signal is received by another piezoelectric
wafer, so that the vibration signal can be circulated and the
induction rod resonates. When the material contacts the sensor bar,
the vibration signal gradually becomes smaller, and the control
circuit outputs an electrical acceptance signal until the resonance
stops.Due to the natural principle that the sensitivity of the sensing
rod gradually decreases from the front end to the rear seat, no
error signal will be generated when the material in the tank and
the barrel are stacked upwards, touching the base of the sensing
rod (rear) or discharging.
The tuning fork generates mechanical vibrations under the
excitation of a piezoelectric crystal, and the vibration has a
certain frequency and amplitude. When the tuning fork is submerged
by liquid or solid, the vibration frequency and amplitude of the
tuning fork will change. This frequency change is detected by the
electronic circuit and outputs a switching signal.
Principle
The KVS100 series tuning fork level switch vibrates to tuning fork
by piezoelectric crystal and inherent frequency of tuning fork. It
can monitor continuously to the change of frequen When the tuning
fork switch is used for low alarm (or low position control), the
medium in the vessel is discharged downward passing through the
tuning fork. When it is lower than the specific location and change
the inherent frequency, this change is detected by electronic
component, the output state is shifted; when it is used for high
alarm (or high position control), the medium in the vessel go
upward and contact with tuning fork which can shift the output
state.
