Utilizing the Heat Generated by 20Khz Ultrasonic Vibration to Achieve Welding of Aluminum Copper Metal Materials
Principle:
The working principle of ultrasonic metal welding is to use ultrasonic vibration to transfer to the metal joint, generating local frictional heat. The frictional heat between metal joints causes an increase in the surface temperature of the material. When the temperature reaches the melting point of the metal, it will melt and form a weld. The vibration frequency of ultrasonic waves is usually between 20 kHz and 60 kHz, and the appropriate frequency can be selected based on the required welding materials and applications.

Advantages:
1. Ultrasonic metal welding can complete the welding process in a
relatively short time because the vibration of ultrasonic waves can
quickly generate heat.
2. Due to the absence of open flames and arcs during the welding
process, there will be no significant oxidation, slag, or
splashing.
3. Ultrasonic welding usually does not require the use of filler
materials or additives, thus maintaining the purity of the metal
material.
4. Due to the small heat affected area during the welding process,
it can reduce thermal damage to surrounding materials.
Ultrasonic metal welding is widely used in many fields, including
automotive manufacturing, electronic equipment manufacturing,
aerospace, and medical equipment. It can be used for welding
various metal components, such as battery cells, electronic
components, wire connections, etc.
It should be noted that ultrasonic metal welding has high
requirements for metal materials and requires the welding material
to have a certain degree of plasticity. In addition, the metal
surface needs to be cleaned and treated before welding to ensure
good welding quality.
