Overview
The functions of the GFE1 card,
Support 8×FE electrical interfaces & 1×GE optical interfaces and hot plug function of the optical module.
Bandwidth 4×VC-4; each VLAN can support up to one FE; the GE port can be used for the convergence of the remote FE port. The GE point-to-point connection only supports the rate of 100Mbit/S.
Support 4094 VLANs.
Perform Layer 2 switch function of Ethernet data packet and support MAC address learning & aging.
Support rapid spanning tree protocol, multicast and broadcast.
Support jumbo frames up to 9.6kbytes.
Support EPL, EVPL, EPLAN and EVPLAN services.
