TX-3SMC4 Turret Milling Machine Features:

The turret milling machine saddle is extra wide for dealing with heavy work load and preventing table overhang. The dovetail slideways of table, saddle and column are laminated with Turcite-B, hardened and ground for precise, smooth and wear resistant movement. This can help make the machine work for a long time and keep accurate even after years’ use.

The table and saddle double-nut arrangement can almost eliminate the backlash and also be adjusted at a short time. For providing a rigid machine structure, all the essential castings are made of Meehanite cast iron with the stress relief.

TX-3SMC4 Turret Milling Machine Inspection:

1. Spindle Bore Runout: Attach the base of a test indicator to working table surface. Make the stylus of the indicator to touch the conical bore surface of the spindle. And make the spindle rotate and readings variation should be under 0.004mm.

2. Squareness of the Table Surface to Quill Travel: Attach the base of a test indicator to the spindle. Let the stylus of the indicator to surface of the cylinder gauge which is placed on the table surface. Make the spindle move up and down and the indicator reading variation should be less than 0.01/127mm

3. Spindle Running Noise Measuring: The measured noise should be less than 72 db.

4. Stiffness of Head and Quil: Use about 15 lbs push the lowest edge of quill. The max displacement shall be less than 0.02mm.

5. Parallelism of Table Surface to Table Cross Transverse Movement: Make the table move in and out along the Y-axis, the indicator variation readings should be less 0.018/300mm
