To make a beaded curtain, start with a dowel or curtain rod that fits within the width of the doorway. To figure the correct length of beading wire for each strand, measure the desired finished length, add enough to wrap loosely around the rod, then add at least one inch and cut a the string to that length. String at least two beads and enough small round beads to wrap loosely around the rod. Pass back through the crimps then crimp. String enough beads to almost fill the remaining beading wire and at least two crimp beads then crimp. Pass the rod through the loop on the end of the strand. Repeat to make as many strands as desired.
