Foam-filled fenders are also called solid polyurethane fenders. The internal cushioning medium is mainly closed-cell foam
materials, such as foamed EVA, foamed polyurethane and foamed
rubber.
Floating rubber fender is a relatively new type of fender
equipment. Compared with solid rubber fender, its main features
are: large compression deformation, large energy absorption, small
reaction force, self-floating, easy to install, etc. Usually used
in ship to ship (ship to ship), ship to wharf (ship to wharf)
barge, docking and other occasions; due to its self-floating
characteristics is also particularly suitable for installation in
docks with large changes in tide level. Among them, the filled
rubber fender is particularly suitable for applications in harsh
environments due to its maintenance-free and long life, such as
offshore drilling platforms.

1) Wharf and marine fender;
2) Applicable to gravity-type and Dun-type wharves, especially
those with large tidal range;
3) It is especially suitable for the fenders where the ship is next
to the ship, and the floating fender is more adaptable;
4) As a fender for bridge piers, protect the bridge piers and ships
from damage;
5) As a necessary spare part of wharf protection equipment, it has
a flexible emergency function;
6) It is suitable for the use of naval special ships to ensure the
safety of berthing;
7) When the super large floating fender is used, the depth of the
ship's berth can be increased to achieve the purpose of upgrading
the dock;
8) The floating fender can be used alone, or it can be combined
with other protective devices to protect the pier and the ship.
