MZ71 Series degaussing PTC Thermistors are specially designed for applications in automatic degaussing circuits of color TV sand Monitors etc,with the characteristics of low residual current and well reliability.

MZ71 -18RM series of PTC thermistor is a kind of abnormal temperature and abnormal current automatic protection, automatic recovery of the protection devices, commonly known as "self-resettable fuse" "million times fuse." It is to replace the traditional fuse, widely used in motors, transformers, electronic circuits such as over-current overload protection. Thermistor resistance mutation, through its restrictions on the consumption of the entire circuit to reduce the residual current value, in the traditional fuse circuit, the fuse can not be on their own after the recovery, while the PTC thermistor in failure resume their protective function after withdrawal .
Chosen as the overload protection PTC thermistor components, first make sure the maximum normal operating current line (that is, PTC thermistor is not operating current) and the PTC thermistor installation position (normal working hours) the maximum ambient temperature, followed by the protection of current (that is, the action PTC thermistor current), maximum operating voltage, rated zero-power resistance, but also should consider factors such as component dimensions.
