Steel fire doors can be used in various places or circumstances. But which fire ratings and circumstances match each other?

Well, for houses, flat rooms and hotel rooms we usually recommend 30mins steel fire doors. For factories we install 45mins or 60mins UL steel fire doors.For hospitals we use 90mins steel fire doors. And for industrial facility it should be 90 or 120mins steel fire doors. Top rating 180mins fire doors are normally designed for circumstances with high explosion risk such as oil plant, oil storage room and so on.

Thickness of Steel Panel For Frame: It matches the thickness of steel panel for door like the following: 0.8mm--1.2mm;1.0mm--1.5mm;1.2mm--2.0mm

Door Filler: There are different options for you, standard filler by us is fireproof perlite board or magnesium oxide board. Otherwise, we can also customize the fillers to be mineral wool, honeycomb paper which has been specially treated. Moreover, polyethylene foam is also one choice for you.

Door Thickness: standard thickness of door is 45mm, namely 13/4’’.

Door Dimension: Max size is 3’ wide by 7’ high for single door(W915mm* H2134mm), for double doors it should be 8’ wide by 8’ high(W2438mm*H2438mm ).Note: The sizes listed above are only for the door leaf and do not include the frame or door clearance.

Frame Depth: 120mm,130mm,160mm

Frame Types: Knock-down frame, Welded frame

Finish: We have three kinds of surface treatments for you: powder coating, wood grain, stainless steel.

Various colors for each finish, we have our own colors system and also can customized colors in RAL systems for you.

Weight: Generally the door weight is around 35Kg per square meter without hardware. It may differs from each other when the door area changes. Detailed weight please exchange with our salesman.

Vision Panels

Attention: In circumstances where fire doors with fire rating longer than 2 hours, we do not suggest doors with glass inserts.
