1.2 Product overview:
The metering cabinet is for outdoor cabinet type one-piece
three-phase primary metering unit , inside has assembled a
combination of three independent voltage transformer and current
transformer, voltage transformers are made up of three-phase Y-Y
star connection, current transformers can be 2pcs or 3pcs optional
configuration, cabinet adopts zinc steel, stainless steel or
aluminum alloy etc, cabinet surface spraying protection layer
resistant to acid and alkali corrosion , prevent the UV
irradiation, suitable for outdoor underground cable connected to
the public power system. The metering cabinet has installed
complete measuring meter box or interval, instrument transformers’
secondary lead all converge in meter box, equipped with test
terminal blocks and electric meter installation space, can be
configured as required when using electric meter or the user
configuration of watt-hour meter can access, suitable for high
voltage equipment in urban power distribution network line 17.5 kV
and below for electric energy metering, current and voltage
measurements.

2. Function and Application of the product:
Pad mounted Primary Metering Cabient meets the latest applicable
industry standards and local and/or national electrical regulatory
requirements. Used for energy metering management and automatic
distribution network management system of three-phase underground
cable urban distribution network, the primary side measurement is
more accurate, and the electric energy loss of the line can be
effectively measured to reduce the loss.
3. Main Features of the product:
1 The metering cabinet adopts the overall housing-shaped box design
and is divided into three internal compartments, including
medium-voltage cable connection room, medium-voltage instrument
transformer room and metering meter box room. The compact and
beautiful housing design does not affect the greening and
landscape, and the outdoor floor installation is convenient and
quick;
2 The metering unit shall assemble the instrument transformer and
the meter box as a whole, preset the alarm signal of the door
switch sensor, the lock seal and the ingenious door opening and
closing linkage structure. Only after the medium-voltage cable room
is opened, then anti-electricity-stealing design of meter box room
can be opened.
3 The cabinet body is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel
or low carbon steel of the same performance. It is designed to be
weather-proof, and the surface is coated with anticorrosive paint
powder layer,acid and alkali resistance, UV resistance.
4 The internal MV combined instrument transformer is encapsulated
and poured with epoxy resin solid, the surface is fully screened
and touchable, and can be closely fitted with the external box. The
compact size is only half that of the air insulation metering box,
free of oil and gas and free of maintenance, meeting the
requirements of safe operation and environmental protection;
5 The primary connection adopts separable sealing connection. The
primary connection bushing have two connection types( 200A bushing
well insert+200A connector and 600A interface bushing+600A
connector) according to standard IEEE STD 386.
