Introduction
Ion-exchange desalination (ion-exchange desalination) refers to the
use of strongly acidic hydrogen-type resin to remove various
cations (except hydrogen) in water, and then use strong alkaline
hydroxide-type anion exchange resin to remove various anions in
water (except hydrogen) (Except for oxygen ions) to remove salt.
The basic reaction equation is:
RH+NaCl→RNa+HCI
ROH+HCl→RCI+ H2O
Commonly used ion exchange desalination systems include multiple
bed, mixed bed, and multiple bed mixed bed desalination systems.
Ion exchanger is also called ion exchange column (bed, tank). In the water
treatment process, a pressure vessel containing ion exchangers. It
is a single unit device for ion exchange water treatment.
There are water inlet and outlet water distribution systems in the
container, regeneration fluid water distribution system, ion
exchanger and its supporting layer. Corresponding pipes and valves
are installed outside to complete exchange, backwashing,
regeneration, cleaning and other processes. The cloth ruler of the
exchanger mainly depends on factors such as water production, flow
rate, type of ion exchanger and working cycle. The inner wall of
the vessel needs anti-corrosion treatment. It is widely used in
softening and desalination treatment systems.
