Catalyst 6509-E Switch
The Catalyst 6509-E switch is an enhanced version of the Catalyst
6509 switch. The 9-slot horizontal chassis supports redundant power
supplies, redundant supervisor engines, and slots for up to eight
modules. It also supports a greater power capacity per slot than
the Catalyst 6509 switch chassis.
The Catalyst 6509-E switch chassis is NEBS L3 compliant. Figure 2
shows the Catalyst 6509-E switch.
