The stainless steel wedge wire water filter nozzle with thread coupling is an ideal solution for applications with heavy amounts of media whose weight could compromise the integrity of unsupported screens. That’s because nozzles are affixed to durable steel plates that can withstand great loads without damage. Using the nozzle method gives you the reliability you want with the flow rate you require.

Our company can provide many kinds of filter nozzles. About the structure, the nozzles are closed on one side and have a threaded fitting on the other. And the nozzles may be installed in lateral pipes or in suspended floors. A nozzle has two main components, a strainer to exclude the media or packing gravel and a thread. Besides also can be add gasket and nut as require. The filter nozzle slot sizes vary considerably from about 0.05mm to around 2mm, larger slots best suited for up flow filters. Slots of 0.2, 0.3 & 0.35mm are commonly used in direct contact with the filter media without the requirement of a gravel layer on top of the nozzles. This direct contact has an advantage for combined air scour and water backwash. Care must be taken to avoid grit particles entering with the backwash water if slots less than 1.0 mm width are to be used. The flow rate can be 0.5m3/h to 3 m3/h. The thread can be M, NPT, G, PT, Z, or produced according to the customers’ require.
