Features

2. Locking by screwing the socket sleeve-nut on to the male-threaded plug. This gives the coupling resistance to heavy mechanical demands (ram loads, hydraulic shocks, severe pulsating pressures, etc.).

Couplings with nominal diameters greater than 25 mm are designed and manufactured in accordance with the stipulations of Module D1 of the European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23 EC. They should not be used to convey volatile gases.
