Stainless Steel Carriage bolts are known as coach bolts or round head square neck bolts , formed a mushroom head without drive socket , a square neck underneath head and shaft with threads from end to neck ; Square neck of stainless steel carriage bolt is with self-locking function , it prevents bolt from moving or backing out when bolt is driven into material .

Normally , stainless steel carriage bolts with machine threads for working with a nut like hex nut or square nut or a round nut , it has to be operated by a tooling like spanner or a wrench ; Stainless steel carriage bolt is with security purpose as well , no head drive socket , it is screwed in or out via handle nuts from opposite side .
