HVAC Evaporation Pressure Regulating Valve KVP Series for evaporator

KVP evaporator regulators are mounted in the suction line of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.


They are used to maintain a constant pressure corresponding to a constant temperature on the evaporator.


They also protect against too low an evaporating pressure by throttling down when the pressure falls below the set value.

Product Features


Regulating range 0 - 5.5 bar, factory setting 2 bar, max. working pressure 18 bar.

Access port: ¼ in. Schraeder valve for pressure testing.

Max. test pressure KVP 12 - 22 = 28 bar, KVP 28 - 35 = 25.6 bar

Evaporator pressure regulators are used to maintain a constant evaporating pressure and hence a constant evaporator temperature;

Plus protection against too low an evaporating pressure since the regulator closes when the pressure in the evaporator alls below the setting.

Located in the suction line at the evaporator outlet.

KVP-type evaporative pressure regulator installed in the suction pipe after the evaporator, is used for:
◆ maintain a constant evaporation pressure, so that the evaporator surface temperature remains constant. Regulator control is adjustable through the regulator in the suction pipe on the role of the throttle is the refrigerant flow with the evaporator load to match
◆ To prevent the evaporation pressure is too low (such as to prevent the chiller in the water evaporator cracking). When the evaporator pressure is lower than the set value, the regulator is closed
◆ KVP-type regulator can also be used for a compressor configuration evaporative pressure of two or more different evaporator cooling system
