The working power of the remote I/O is provided by the
corresponding LCU to the unit local control unit (LCU1, LCU2, LCU3,
LCU4).
The LCU should provide an RS-485 serial interface, using the Modbus
(Master and Slave) standard communication protocol interface.
Molex is used for gateway protocol conversion. The module is
directly plugged into AB's 1756 rack and has standard blocks for
programming.
The international standard industrial Ethernet protocol EtherNet/IP
is used between the PLC and the workstation in the LCU.
The communication speed reaches 100Mbps, and the PLC adopts AB
ControlLogix system governor oil pump control loop and ball valve
control loop to enter the unit's local LCU control.
