Installation connection

To ensure the correct installation of the Ethernet adapter, please follow the steps below:

①　Turn off the computer;
②　Disconnect the power cable;
③　Remove the computer cover and find the empty PCI-E (X8, X16) bus expansion slot;
④　Pull out the slot cover (if any) by removing the screw or loosening the lever;
⑤　Grab the top edge of the Ethernet adapter and insert it firmly into the card slot;
⑥　Re-attach the Ethernet adapter's retaining bracket using the existing screws or levers;
⑦　Close the computer cover, plug in the cables and turn on the computer;
⑧　Plug in the optical module and fiber optic cable.
