Stainless Steel Plain Dutch Weave Wire Mesh

Plain dutch weaving mesh is a special kind of weaving in which the weft wires, which are normally of a smaller diameter than the warp wires, are woven so that they are fully joined together. There is no opening in the mesh, only a transversal passage where the weft wires alternate. Plain dutch weave cloths are used almost exclusively for filtering, in particular when the weave must have a high level of stiffness. Plain dutch weave cloths may be supplied in rolls of various widths and lengths and in flat panels in different geometric shapes. It is possible to make them from all metal materials and alloys, that can be drawn into wire, such as carbon steel, stainless steels, nickel-chromium alloys, pure metals.

Weaving methods: Plain Dutch Weave("Warp×Weft" same meaning to "Warp×Shute")

Woven as a plain weave, but with the warp wires of greater diameter than the weft wires. The weft wires are very close together so that a so-called zero-mesh structure is formed; while the warp wires are thicker and arranged wider apart.

Application:
These are commonly used for filter candles in edible oil refining, large mechanical loads for pre-coat filters, food and pharmaceutical filtration.
