High Accuracy Single Point Load Cell FH7A is strain gauge based delivering 2.0mV/V rated output from the full wheatstone bridge with 0.015% non-linearity error of the full scale. Weight Sensor FH7A is off-center load compensated for up to 800x800mm platform which makes weight transducer FH7A ideal for single-cell large-platform scales. Temperature compensation process guarantees stable performance over a wide of working temperature. Environmentally sealed with potting compound to ensure durability. A single point load cell is a transducer that converts mechanical force into electrical signal which is proportional to the weight(or force) being applied.The measured load or force causes deformation of the measuring element(elastic body),the bonded strain gauge deforms accordingly which will cause the resistance change of the wheatstone bridge,under constant power supply, the output signal between Sig+ and Sig- will change proportionally, thus the load/force can be measured by measuring the output signal from the load cell which is normally within 0-30mV.Overloading is the most common cause of loadcell failure, a load cell is just like a spring in certain aspects, which will be damaged if overstretched. A machanical stop(refer to below picture) can be used to protect the sensor from excessive deformation. The gap distance can be determined by loading the sensor with rated capacity,then adjust the meachnical stop to reach the bottom of the transducer.In most cases,the load cell will be used to measure load at 30-60% of the full scale,thus the gap distance can also be adjusted using reference load a little higher than the target load to be measured instead of the rated capacity.
