GE IC693MAR590 AC INPUT/RELAY OUTPUT MODULE MIXED I/O 120 VAC INPUT 8 POINTS RELAY OUTPUT 8 POINTS
Product information GE IC693MAR590 :
GE Fanuc IC693MAR590 is a 120 volt AC Input/Relay Output module.
Equipped with eight input points, this module is designed to work
with the Series 90-30 Programmable Logic Controller. The eight
input points share a common power input terminal and it also has
eight normally-open relay circuits. The input circuits are grouped
together but the output points are split in two groups of four.
Each output group has a common power output terminal. The module
can operate pushbuttons, electronic proximity switches and limit
switches due to its input characteristics. The user just needs to
supply an external AC power source.
Each open relay circuit has an output switching capacity of 2 amps.
These outputs may be used to control load devices as supplied by
the user. For example, the module can control solenoids,
indicators, and motor starters. This module has no fuses but it
does have an LED block on top. This shows the status of the input
points (the top row – A1 to A8) and the output points (the bottom
row B1 to B8).
There is a door on the module. Users can use the door card for
recording information about circuit identification or circuit
wiring. This card has a red color code, which lets users know that
this is a high-voltage module. Like similar models, this one can be
installed in either a 5-slot or 10-slot baseplate to use it in a
Series 90-30 PLC system. Any I/O slot is compatible with the
IC693MAR590 Input/Relay Output module.

About series of GE 90-70's advantage :
With our CPX family of CPUs, the Series 90-70 offers more for your
automation dollar—more computing power, more memory for your
applications, and more communications and redundancy capabilities.
And it provides increased flexibility for a variety of applications
due to a wide range of isolated and high-density VME analog I/O
modules.
Open Architecture Based on the VME-bus standard, the Series 90-70
can be used with thousands of boards produced by hundreds of
different manufacturers to build a solution that meets your exact
needs. These include links to drives and drive systems, servo motor
controllers, embedded solutions for vision systems and bus-to-bus
interface modules, as well as a variety of modules available from
GE (see accompanying table).
