The Fluke 52120A is a transconductance amplifier designed for users
who aim to enhance the calibration capabilities of their
laboratories. It addresses issues such as limited output current,
accuracy, and drive capability of existing test equipment. It is
applicable in calibration laboratories, electrical utilities, and
is suitable for manufacturers of power/energy instrumentation and
meters, power quality analyzers, or power converters, as well as
users of electrical test and measurement equipment.
The Fluke Calibration 52120A Transconductance Amplifier supplies dc
current up to 100 amps and ac current up to 120 amps, at accuracies
to 140 ppm. Using accessory coils, it can generate 3,000 or 6,000
amps. Three 52120As connected in parallel can output up to 360
amps. Inductive drive capability of 1 mH and compliance voltage of
4.5 volts support a wide range of applications.
High - Current Output: It can supply up to 100 A of DC current and 120 A of AC current.
When using accessory coils, it can generate 3000 A or 6000 A of
current. With three 52120As connected in parallel, it can output up
to 360 A.
High - Accuracy Calibration: The accuracy can reach up to 140 ppm, ensuring precise
calibration of various high - current working load devices,
including power and energy meters, clamp meters, and current
transformers.
Wide Frequency Range: The frequency range is from DC to 10 kHz, meeting the calibration

and the input voltage ranges are 2 V, 2 V, 1.2 V (1.0 V DC). The
output ranges are 2 A, 20 A, 120 A (100 A DC), with current gains
of 10, 100, 1000, and transconductances of 1, 10, 100 siemens.
Output Compliance Voltage and Isolation: The output compliance voltage is 4.5 Vrms (6.4 Vp). The output
isolation from the current terminal to the ground is 600 Vrms, 850
Vp, DC up to 850 Hz.
Other Parameters: The operating temperature is 5 °C to 35 °C, and the calibration
temperature range is 16 °C to 30 °C. The warm - up time is 1 hour,
the power consumption is less than 1500 VA, and the weight is 25
