GH4169 is a kind of precipitation strengthened nickel-based
superalloy, which has good comprehensive properties in the
temperature range of -253 ~ 650℃, the yield strength below 650℃
ranks the first place in the deformation superalloy, and has good
fatigue resistance, radiation resistance, oxidation resistance,
corrosion resistance, good processing performance and good welding
performance. It can manufacture various parts with complex shapes,
and has been widely used in the above temperature range in
aerospace, nuclear energy, petroleum industry and extrusion molds.
Another feature of the alloy is that the alloy structure is
particularly sensitive to the hot working process, grasp the phase
precipitation and dissolution law of the alloy and the relationship
between the structure and the process and performance, can be
formulated for different use requirements of reasonable and
feasible process procedures, you can obtain various parts that can
meet different strength levels and use requirements. The varieties
supplied by Shanghai Bohu Group are forgings, forging rods, rolling
rods, cold rolling rods, round cakes, rings, plates, belts, wires,
tubes and so on. It can be made into discs, rings, blades, shafts,
fasteners and elastic components, plate structural parts,
cartridges and other parts for long-term use in aviation.

GH4169 Heat treatment system:
GH4169 superalloy has different heat treatment regimes to control
grain size, δ phase morphology, distribution and quantity, so as to
obtain different levels of mechanical properties. Alloy heat
treatment system is divided into 3 categories:
I: (1010~1065)℃±10℃, 1h, oil cooling, air cooling or water cooling
+720℃±5℃, 8h, furnace cooling at 50℃/h to 620℃±5℃, 8h, air cooling.
There is no δ phase in the grain boundary or in the grain, and
there is notch sensitivity, but it is beneficial to improve the
impact property and resist low temperature hydrogen embrittleness.
Ⅱ : (950~980)℃±10℃, 1h, oil cooled, air cooled or water cooled
+720℃±5℃, 8h, furnace cooled at 50℃/h to 620℃±5℃, 8h, air cooled.
Iii: 720℃±5℃, 8h, at 50℃/h furnace cooling to 620℃±5℃, 8h, air
cooling.
GH4169 Superalloy application
Manufacturing all kinds of stationary and rotating parts in
aviation and aerospace engines, such as discs, rings, casings,
shafts, blades, fasteners, elastic components, gas ducts, sealing
components, and welded structural parts; Manufacture of various
elastic elements and frames for nuclear energy industry
applications; Manufacturing parts and other components for
applications in the petroleum and chemical industries.
In recent years, on the basis of deepening research and expanding
application of the alloy, many processes have been developed in
order to improve quality and reduce cost: helium cooling process is
used in vacuum arc remelting to effectively reduce niobium
segregation; Using jet forming process to produce ring parts,
reduce cost and shorten production cycle; Superplastic forming
process is adopted to expand the production range of products.
GH4169 Superalloy function assessment:
The turbine disc, oil disc, integral rotor, shaft, fasteners and
other parts made of the alloy have passed the overrotation, rupture
and low cycle fatigue tests in the zero and component tests of the
engine according to the model specifications used in the engine. It
has passed the test of long term (life) test and test flight
launch, and has met the requirements of design and application.
