Aluminum bars, rods, and discs are solid, lightweight shapes that resist corrosion and are used to form and fabricate parts in machining, welding, and structural applications. Also called long stock, these aluminum pieces have a variety of cross-section shapes formed out of specific material grades of aluminum.
Aluminum rods are mainly divided into the following categories: square rods, round rods, pattern rods, special rods, and world-wide aluminum rods. According to the kneading method, seamless aluminum rod and general kneading rod are divided into general aluminum rod and fine aluminum rod according to the accuracy. The fine aluminum rod needs to be processed after kneading, such as cold drawing, fine drawing and rolling.
