1. Process introduction

In order to ensure painting quality, it is necessary to prepare the workpiece before painting, to remove dirt, oil, grease, rust etc.

3. Design description

3-1 Treatment tunnel

The tunnel is a created of the profile steel structure that supports the overhead conveyor system and which is then covers with normal steel sheets.

• Drain decks are welded between the tanks. The decks slope towards the tanks next.

The interior of the tunnel is fitted with suitable walkways for maintenance operation.

3-2 Dip I Spray

The tanks are manufactured from SUS steel plate as specified and are reinforced with profile steel.

The dip tanks are provided with fully dip the car body and where heated is needed, combined with the heating circuits.

The tanks are equipped with water connections for initial fill-up and draining.

The tanks are provided with an inclined bottom for drainage.

The heated tanks are provided with 50mm insulation.

3-3 Spray system

Horizontal centrifugal pumps will be used for all zones.

A ball valve is installed at the inlet and a butterfly valve on outlet of the pump.

A diaphragm pressure gauge is provided at each pump on discharge side. In the outlet with big pressure fluctuate, damp pressure gauge will be installed.

The spray will operate when a car body is rising from the surface of solution when it is needed.

Spray nozzles of the spray system have 2 type, spray nozzle & mist spray nozzle, it is installed according to the process requirement.

The recirculation pipes for the heating section will be insulated with 50mm thickness rockwool.

3-4 Waste water treatment

In the outlet of each circulation pump, there is a waste discharge valve, connecting to the special waste discharge pipe of the paint shop, the waste liquid will discharge to the waste water treatment station for further treatment.

The drain pits of waste water treatment are connected to waste water collection pit.

3-6 Solution level control

Automatic level controls are installed on all tanks, unless otherwise specified.
