ERW Steel Pipe Making Machine With Straight Seam High Frequency Welding
ERW welded pipes can be used in structural assemble, liquid
transmission, furniture, construction fields. The pipe forming and
size rectifying is the core unit of pipe mill line, with high
frequency welding blank pipe seams between forming and sizing.
Our welded pipe production line can run fast and smoothly up to
150m/min for less 2”(50mm) pipes making, and over 100m/min for 2-4
inch(50-100mm) pipes.
Meanwhile, the ERW pipe diameter is going to huge, like 500mm round
pipes(400x400 square ), this require pipe forming and sizing design
to save rollers, otherwise, rolling tools cost will be very high.
The automatic mechanical adjust rollers to change pipe sizes are
very important, for manual way is becoming too difficult.
When customers mainly or only need square or rectangular welded
pipes, we adopt “directly to square” forming technology, one set of
combined forming rollers can make all the square and rectangular
tubes, convenient, efficient and economical.
Besides forming and sizing units, the other equipments on pipe
production line are uncoiler, shear and butt welder, accumulator,
high frequency welder, flying saw, roll table and auto packer.
The continuous pipe making process: uncoiling, cutting and joint welding, accumulating, (blank pipe forming, seam guide, high frequency induction welding, seam squeeze, out burrs scraping, polishing, cooling, sizing and turks head straightening), flying cut, roll table packing.
Description of critical equipment on ERW pipe mill line:
1.Uncoiler: manual or pneumatic expansion 180 degree double
mandrels for 2T coil
Hydraulic expansion 180 degree double mandrels for 3.5T coil
Hydraulic expansion one mandrel for 4-8T
Hydraulic double mandrels opposite to each other for 10-30T
2.Accumulator loop: cage accumulator for ≤3x150mm steel strip
Horizontal spiral accumulator is for all cases of strip
accumulating

4.Fly cutting Saw: in general applications, hot friction chopping
style flying saw is enough, recent years cold cutting saw is
becoming more and more popular for the cut pipe ends are smooth
without burrs. Both flying saws are mature technology.
5.Discharging roll table and automatic packing
Customers can choose: either each pipe runs on roll table and then
fall into pipe collecting frame, or pipes run and go to packing
table where pipes are automatically packed into hexagon bundle.
