Urine Bag Collection Urinary Drainage Bag Disposable Sterilize Luxury Type 2000ml T Valve
A urinary drainage bag, commonly known as a urinary catheter bag,
is typically used in conjunction with the following items, and
there are certain considerations to keep in mind:
Catheter: The urinary drainage bag usually needs to be connected to
a urinary catheter to guide urine from the catheter into the bag. A
urinary catheter is a thin tube-like device inserted into the
bladder to assist with urine drainage.
Leg straps or adhesive tape: To ensure that the urinary drainage
bag remains securely attached to the patient, leg straps or
adhesive tape are often used. These straps or tape can be used to
secure the bag to the thigh, waist, or abdomen.
Cleansing supplies: To maintain cleanliness of the urinary drainage
bag and the surrounding area, appropriate cleansing supplies such
as warm water and soap or specialized cleansers should be used.
Keeping the area clean is crucial during bag changes and routine
care.
Skin barrier products: For patients using urinary drainage bags for
an extended period, especially those prone to skin damage or
allergic reactions, skin barrier products can be considered. These
products help protect the skin from irritation and damage caused by
urine exposure.
Urine Bag Capacity: The urine bag has a capacity of 2000ml, which
means it can hold up to 2000 milliliters of urine. This larger
capacity is suitable for individuals who require extended use or
have higher urine output.
Disposable and Sterilized: The urine bag is designed for single-use
and is disposable. It comes sterilized, ensuring a clean and
hygienic product that reduces the risk of urinary tract infections
and contamination.
Luxury Type: The term "luxury type" typically refers to additional
features or design elements that enhance user comfort and
convenience. The specific luxury features of this urinary drainage
bag may vary, but they can include features such as soft and
comfortable straps, anti-reflux valves, odor control mechanisms, or
user-friendly design elements.
T Valve: The urinary drainage bag is equipped with a T valve. The T
valve is a type of drainage outlet that allows for easy and
controlled emptying of the urine bag. It typically consists of a
twist valve or a lever mechanism that can be opened to release
urine and closed to prevent leakage.
Sterilization: Sterilization is a crucial aspect of the urinary
drainage bag, ensuring that the bag is free from harmful
microorganisms and safe for use. Sterilization methods can include
ethylene oxide (ETO) gas sterilization or gamma radiation
sterilization.

What is a urinary drainage bag?
Urine drainage bags collect urine. Your bag will attach to a
catheter (tube) that is inside your bladder. You may have a
catheter and urine drainage bag because you have urinary
incontinence (leakage), urinary retention (not being able to
urinate), surgery that made a catheter necessary, or another health
problem.
How long can you use a urinary drainage bag?
Urinary drainage bags must be discarded every seven (7) days from
first use when: • switching from a leg bag to a large drainage bag;
disconnecting the drainage bag from the catheter; and • the bag is
leaking, damaged, discolored, stiff and brittle or a strong odor
persists after cleaning.
Can you shower with a urine bag?
Leave your bag or valve attached to the catheter while showering.
If you have a leg bag, it must be kept below the level of your
bladder at all times. Sometimes you may get urine leaking down the
urethra. This is nothing to worry about but contact your doctor or
nurse to get further advice.
