Description:
The MF72 power NTC thermistor is a kind of semiconductor ceramic
element that mostly made from transition metal oxide material, and
belongs to negative temperature thermistors. When you tune on an
electrical equipment ,the surge current can be restrained by a
power NTC thermistor connected in series with the power circuit
.Because of the continuing action of current, temperature of power
NTC thermistor raising, the resistance will rapidly drop to a small
value, the consumed power can be ignored. So it can not affect
normal operating current. Therefore, using power NTC thermistor is
a most effectively amd most brief measure to restrain surge
current, protecting electrical equipment from destruction.
The main advantage
The main feature of a thermistor is its high sensitivity. Its
temperature coefficient of resistance is 10-100 times that of
metal. It can detect temperature changes of 10-6°C; the working
temperature range is wide, the normal temperature device is
suitable for -55°C ~ 315°C, the high temperature device is suitable
for temperatures above 315°C (before 2000°C), and the low
temperature device is suitable for- 273°C ~ 55°C; small size, can
measure the temperature of the voids, cavities and blood vessels in
the human body, which cannot be measured by other thermometers;
easy to use, the resistance value is in the range of 0.1 ~ 100kΩ;
any choice between them; easy to process into Complex shape, mass
production; good stability, strong overload capacity.
