1. Introduction of Ribbon Mixer:
Horizontal ribbon mixer machine has a single blending shaft with double helical ribbons. ribbon mixer machine is widely used in mixing dry powder, granules, particles, pellets, low viscous paste materials with spraying liquid or oil during the mixing process.
2. Working Principle:
The vortex outer ribbon combined with rotating direction drives materials from two sides to the centre; at the same time inner ribbon drives material from centre to outsides. This convective activity shorts the mixing time and betters the mixing effect.
3. Multiple blending structures:
We have another blending structure called ribbon paddle type mixer.
We designed this structure by combining customers requirement and did many times of tests, and finally it works.
4. Liquid and oil spray system for ribbon mixer:
Liquid spray system can be equipped to mix some liquid with powdery materials in the mixer. Customers can spray oil, water, adhesive, liquid additives, etc.
5. Crushing and dispersing functions-high speed choppers:
High speed choppers can be installed on the ribbon mixer to help the materials disperse better during mixing process.
There are two types of chopper blades. Tulip shaped chopper (single) and X-mass tree type chopper (Multiple) are available.
6. Heating and cooling jacket:
Ribbon Mixer with heating jacket or cooling jacket can be equipped to heat or cool the materials by setting a certain temperature to make the materials keep some property or some special reaction.
7. Discharging method:
Controlled by manual, electric and pneumatic. But now pneumatic flap valve is becoming a popular discharging way.
