Truck tire tread precuring machine is an important equipment used in truck tire production.
Basic structure
- Curing chamber: This is the core component. Its internal space shape is adapted
to the shape of the truck tire tread, and the tread is precured
here.
- Heating system: Usually electric heating or thermal oil heating is used to
accurately raise the temperature in the curing chamber to the
temperature range required for precuring, generally around 100-180
degrees Celsius, to provide heat for the vulcanization reaction of
the tire tread rubber.
- Pressurization system: Mainly through hydraulic or pneumatic
devices, uniform pressure is applied to the tire tread to ensure
that the tread and the mold fit tightly. The pressure range may be
10-20kg/cm², so that the rubber is vulcanized under pressure, which
helps to ensure the quality of the tread.
- Mold system: The mold is precisely designed, and its pattern and
size are consistent with the tread pattern and size required for
the finished truck tire, thereby ensuring the shape accuracy of the
tread after vulcanization.
Working Principle
The uncured semi-finished truck tire tread is placed in a mold in the vulcanization chamber, and then the heating and pressurization system is started. Under certain temperature and pressure conditions, the rubber molecules in the tread rubber react chemically with the vulcanizer to form a cross-linked structure. This cross-linking process can enhance the physical properties of the tire tread, such as wear resistance, cut resistance and elasticity. The pre-vulcanization process is partially vulcanized before the rubber is fully vulcanized and formed, which can better control the quality and performance of the tire tread.

The jaw vulcanizer is a special equipment for rubber vulcanization.
1.Structural features
*- Frame structure: The overall frame is like the opening and
closing shape of a jaw. It is mainly composed of a fixed jaw plate
and a movable jaw plate. The movable jaw plate is connected to the
drive device through connecting rods, elbow plates and other
components to achieve opening and closing movements.
- Heating system: Generally, electric heating or steam heating is
used. The heating plate is set inside the jaw plate, and the heat
can be evenly transferred to the rubber products placed between the
jaw plates to ensure that the temperature distribution during the
vulcanization process is relatively uniform.
- Pressure system: Pressure is provided by hydraulic devices or
mechanical transmission devices. During the vulcanization process,
the pressure system pushes the movable jaw plate closer to the
fixed jaw plate, applies the required pressure to the rubber
product between the two, and completes the vulcanization of the
rubber under a certain temperature and pressure.
Working principle
Place the rubber product to be vulcanized between the jaw plates of the jaw vulcanizer, and then start the heating system and pressure system. The heating system raises the temperature to the temperature range required for rubber vulcanization. The temperature of different rubber formulas is different, usually around 140-180℃. At the same time, the pressure system applies pressure, and the pressure varies depending on the requirements of the rubber products, ranging from 10-30MPa. Under suitable temperature and pressure, the vulcanizer in the rubber reacts chemically with the rubber molecules to form a cross-linked structure between the molecular chains of the rubber, thereby changing the physical and chemical properties of the rubber. After a certain vulcanization time (depending on the thickness and formula of the rubber product, generally ranging from a few minutes to tens of minutes), the vulcanization process is completed.
Scope of application
