The latest rubber sheet kneader mixing mill and calendering
production line
Rubber sheet mixing, kneading and calendering production line is an
important process for producing rubber sheets. The following is a
detailed introduction to each link of this production line:
I. Mixing link
1. Function:
- Fully mix and knead various rubber raw materials and compounding
agents to evenly disperse different components and form a rubber
compound with uniform texture.
2. Equipment features:
- Internal mixers usually have strong shearing force and mixing
ability, and can complete the initial processing of rubber in a
relatively short time.
- For example, the falling internal mixer can efficiently shear,
extrude and mesh the material through the special design of the
rotor to ensure the quality of the rubber.
3. Process parameters:
- It is crucial to control parameters such as mixing temperature,
time and rotor speed. Generally speaking, the mixing temperature is
between 120℃ and 180℃ depending on the type of rubber and the
formula, and the mixing time is usually around 10-30 minutes.
II. Mixing link
1. Function:
- Further mix and disperse the various components in the rubber
compound, so that the rubber and compounding agents are more evenly
combined and the performance of the rubber sheet is improved.
2. Equipment features:
- The open mill is one of the common mixing equipment, such as the
XK-550 rubber open mill. It has a large roller diameter and
adjustable roller pitch, which can adapt to the rubber mixing needs
of different batches and formulas.
- The roller surface of the open mill has high hardness and good
wear resistance. The roller temperature can be controlled by
passing cooling water or steam to ensure the stability of the
mixing process.
3. Process parameters:
- During mixing, the roller temperature, roller pitch and mixing
time need to be reasonably adjusted according to the
characteristics of the rubber and product requirements. Generally,
the roller temperature is between 60℃ and 120℃, the roller pitch is
adjusted according to the hardness and fluidity of the rubber, and
the mixing time is usually about 20-40 minutes.
III. Calendering process
1. Function:
- The mixed rubber is passed through the roller gap of the calender
to be calendered into a rubber sheet with a certain thickness and
width.
- At the same time, the rubber sheet can be surface treated during
the calendering process, such as glue coating, glue rubbing, etc.,
to improve the quality and appearance of the rubber sheet.
2. Equipment features:
- The calender is usually composed of multiple rollers, and the gap
between the rollers can be precisely adjusted to control the
thickness of the rubber sheet.
- The roller surface of the calender is highly smooth, which can
ensure the surface quality of the rubber sheet. Some advanced
calenders are also equipped with automatic control systems to
achieve precise control of the calendering process.
3. Process parameters:
- Calendering temperature, speed and roller gap are key parameters
affecting the quality of the rubber sheet. The calendering
temperature is generally between 80℃ and 150℃, the calendering
speed is adjusted according to the thickness and production
efficiency of the rubber sheet, and the roller gap is precisely set
according to the designed thickness of the rubber sheet.
Through this rubber sheet mixing, mixing and calendering production
line, rubber sheet products with stable quality and excellent
performance can be efficiently produced to meet the needs of
different industries for rubber sheets.
