Machine Introduction:
The silicone 500×500 hot plate vulcanizer is a device used for
vulcanization and molding of silicone products. Here is some
information about it:
1. Working principle:
- The motor drives the oil pump to work, and the oil is transported
from the oil tank through the oil filter, oil pump, and control
valve to the oil cylinder, driving the plunger to rise and close
the hot plate. When the pressure reaches the specified value, if
the motor stops running, the one-way valve will automatically close
to maintain the pressure in the oil cylinder. The hot plate heats
the silicone material, making the rubber material warm and soften,
and the internal moisture and volatile substances are vaporized. At
the same time, the hydraulic cylinder provides enough pressure to
fill the model with rubber, limit the generation of bubbles, and
make the product structure dense. During the vulcanization process,
the rubber molecules undergo cross-linking reactions, changing from
a linear structure to a mesh structure, thereby obtaining a product
with certain physical and mechanical properties.
2. Structural features:
- Hot plate: The size is 500×500mm. It is the main working part of
the equipment and is used to heat and press the silicone. The
material and processing accuracy of the hot plate have an important
impact on the quality of the product. Generally, high-quality steel
is used and specially treated to ensure uniform heat conduction and
precise temperature control.
- Frame: It plays the role of supporting and fixing the hot plate,
oil cylinder and other components. The structural design of the
frame should have sufficient strength and rigidity to ensure the
stability of the equipment during operation.
- Cylinder: It is a component that generates pressure. It pushes
the hot plate to close through the movement of the plunger and
exerts pressure on the silicone material. The sealing and pressure
resistance of the cylinder are directly related to the working
efficiency and safety of the equipment.
- Hydraulic system: It includes oil pumps, control valves, oil
pipes and other components, which are responsible for providing and
controlling the working pressure of the cylinder. The performance
of the hydraulic system determines the pressure control accuracy
and working reliability of the equipment.
- Heating system: Usually electric heating is used, and tubular
resistance heaters are installed in the hot plate to provide heat.
This heating method saves electricity, does not form glue, has
uniform temperature of the hot plate, and has good insulation
performance.
- Control system: PLC programmable controller or other intelligent
control methods can be used to accurately control and adjust the
temperature, pressure, vulcanization time and other parameters of
the equipment. It is easy to operate and has a high degree of
automation.
3. Technical parameters:
- Nominal clamping force: Common specifications include 25 tons, 50
tons, 80 tons, etc. The larger the nominal clamping force, the
larger the size and thickness of the silicone products that the
equipment can press, and the higher the density and strength of the
products.
- Plunger stroke: Generally between 200-500mm. The plunger stroke
determines the opening and closing distance of the hot plate,
affecting the installation of the mold and the removal of the
product.
- Motor power: Depending on the size of the equipment and working
requirements, the motor power is generally between 2.2-5.2kW.
- Dimensions: Varies depending on the structure and model of the
equipment, generally between 1-3 meters in length, width and
height.
- Weight: About 1000-2000kg.
4. Application areas: Widely used in the production of silicone
products, such as silicone sealing rings, silicone buttons,
silicone tubes, silicone plates, etc.
