varies depending on factors such as equipment model and
manufacturer. The following is some common pressure-related information:
1. Pressure range:
- The pressure of a general small silicone wristband vulcanizing
machine may range from a few tons to dozens of tons. For example,
some relatively simple vulcanizing machines suitable for
small-scale production or experimental purposes may have a pressure
of about 10-30 tons.
- The pressure of a medium-sized vulcanizing machine is usually
50-100 tons, which is also the more common equipment pressure level
for silicone wristband production on the market.
- The pressure of large-scale production equipment may reach more
than 100 tons, mainly used for large-scale and high-efficiency
production.
2. Pressure expression method:
- Nominal clamping force: This is an important parameter indicator
of the vulcanizing machine, which represents the maximum clamping
pressure that the equipment can provide. For example, a vulcanizing
machine with a nominal clamping force of 80 tons can provide a
maximum pressure of 80 tons to close the mold when working,
ensuring that the silicone can be fully compressed and vulcanized
in the mold.
- Pressure per unit area: Some manufacturers also use pressure per
unit area to indicate the pressure performance of the equipment,
such as "kg/cm²" (kilograms per square centimeter). This indicator
can more intuitively reflect the pressure intensity of the silicone
in the mold. Usually, the pressure per unit area of the silicone
bracelet vulcanization molding machine may be around 100-300kg/cm².
3. The role and influence of pressure:
- In the vulcanization molding process of silicone bracelets,
pressure is a key factor. Appropriate pressure can make the
silicone material fully fill the mold cavity, expel the internal
air and impurities, and avoid defects such as bubbles and lack of
glue in the product.
- Pressure can also affect the dimensional accuracy and physical
properties of the silicone bracelet. If the pressure is too small,
the silicone material may not fit the mold tightly, resulting in
large deviations in the size of the bracelet and insufficient
strength; while excessive pressure may damage the mold or overload
the equipment, affecting the service life of the equipment.
