The composite rubber mixing roller cooling machine mainly has the
following types:
1. Water-cooled cooling machine:
- Jacketed water-cooled cooling machine: The mixing chamber wall is
a jacket structure, and there are many partitions in the center to
divide the jacket into two halves. After the cooling water enters
from one side, it circulates in the jacket along the axial
direction, and then circulates from the side wall to the other side
and flows out. This cooling method can cool the side wall and
increase the cooling area, but due to the thick wall, the cooling
effect needs to be further improved.
- Drilled water-cooled cooling machine: Many small holes are
drilled in the mixing chamber wall along the axial direction to
allow the cooling water to circulate along the holes. The
cross-sectional area of the drilled hole is smaller than that of
the jacket, so the water flow speed is faster, and the hole is
closer to the inner wall of the mixing chamber, the thermal
conductivity is high, the heat transfer is fast, and the cooling
effect is relatively good.
- Roller internal circulation water-cooled cooling machine: There
is a special flow channel design inside the roller, and the cooling
water circulates inside the roller, directly exchanging heat with
the roller surface, and the cooling efficiency is high. Commonly
used in rubber mixing production with high requirements for cooling
effect, such as the production of some high-precision rubber
products.
2. Air-cooled cooler:
- Natural air-cooled cooler: Rely on natural convection air to cool
the roller. This cooling method has a simple structure and low
cost, but the cooling speed is relatively slow. It is suitable for
rubber mixing occasions with low cooling speed requirements and low
heat generation.
- Forced air-cooled cooler: By installing fans or blowers and other
equipment, air is forced to blow to the surface of the roller to
speed up the air flow rate, thereby improving the cooling effect.
Compared with natural air cooling, forced air cooling has a faster
cooling speed and can meet the production needs of some medium-heat
rubber mixing.
3. Oil-cooled cooler:
- Indirect oil-cooled cooler: The oil is cooled in an independent
cooling system, and then the cold is transferred to the roller
through a heat exchanger. This method can accurately control the
oil temperature, thereby ensuring the stability of the cooling
effect, and the specific heat capacity of the oil is relatively
large, which can absorb more heat, and is suitable for rubber
mixing processes with high temperature control requirements.
- Direct oil-cooled cooler: The cooling oil directly contacts the
roller surface for heat exchange. This cooling method has a high
cooling efficiency, but it has high requirements on the quality and
sealing of the oil, otherwise it is easy to cause oil leakage and
other problems.
4. Spray cooler: A nozzle is set in the cooling device to spray
cooling water or coolant on the roller surface to cool the roller.
Spray cooling can make the coolant cover the roller surface more
evenly and improve the cooling effect, but it also needs to deal
with the recovery and discharge of the coolant.
5. Combined cooler: Combines multiple cooling methods, such as
water cooling and air cooling, oil cooling and water cooling. This
combined cooler can give full play to the advantages of various
cooling methods, improve the cooling effect and adaptability, and
meet the cooling needs of different rubber mixing processes.
