Sheet Bending Fabrication Metal Stainless Steel Stamping Parts
Stainless steel is widely used in industrial production because of
its excellent performance, but its stamping performance is poor,
the surface of parts is easily scratched, and the mold is prone to
bond bumps, which greatly affects stamping quality and production
efficiency. This requires starting from the die structure, die
material, heat treatment and lubrication during the stamping
process to improve the quality of the parts and the life of the
die, and to better solve the problems existing in the stainless
steel stamping process.
Stamping characteristics of stainless steel sheet
(1) High yield point, high hardness, significant cold work
hardening effect, and prone to cracks and other defects.
(2) The thermal conductivity is worse than that of ordinary carbon
steel, resulting in large deformation force, large punching force
and deep drawing force.
(3) During deep drawing, the plastic deformation is severely
hardened, and the thin plate is easy to wrinkle or fall off.
(4) The deep drawing die is prone to adhesion lumps, resulting in
serious scratches on the outer diameter of the parts.
(5) When deep drawing, it is difficult to achieve the expected
shape.
