Product Operation:

1. Press and hold the button to open the mercury sphygmomanometer

2. Loosen the bleeder valve on the balloon

3. Extrude the gas in the cuff

4. Open the mercury valve of the mercury sphygmomanometer

5. The size of the cuff is appropriate, and the cuff airbag should wrap at least 80% of the upper arm. Attach the cuff to the upper arm of the subject. The lower edge of the cuff should be 2-3cm away from the elbow bend. The cuff and the heart should be at the same level

6. When binding the cuff, the tightness should be able to accommodate two fingers.

7. After the cuff is properly tied, the connecting tube should be above the arm side, and the chest part of the stethoscope should be placed at the brachial artery of the cubital fossa. The sphygmomanometer should be placed at the heart level regardless of the subject's position.

8. Bring the stethoscope to the ear

9. Tighten the bleeder valve, repeatedly pinch the rubber balloon to inflate the cuff to increase the pressure. The pressure in the balloon should be up to 2.5-4kpa (20-30mmHg) after the artery disappears, and then stop pumping

10. Systolic blood pressure (high pressure) reading: when the blood vessel sound is heard for the first time, the height of the mercury column represents the systolic blood pressure

11. Diastolic pressure (low pressure) reading: continue to deflate. When the blood vessel sound suddenly becomes weak (or the sound suddenly disappears), the height of the mercury column represents the diastolic pressure

12. After the measured blood pressure is recorded, the blood pressure measurement is completed. Put away all blood pressure measuring equipment, and pay special attention to closing the mercury valve
