Antigen Swab Test Kit Principle

The Green Spring® SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Rapid Test is a qualitative membrane-based immunoassay for the detection of the nucleocapsid protein antigen of SARS-CoV-2 with the detection line area coated with SARS-CoV-2 antibodies. The sample reacts with SARS-CoV-2 antibodies in the test line area. If the sample contains SARS-CoV-2 antigen, a colored line will appear in the test line area (T). As a program control, a colored line appears in the control line area (C), indicating that the correct volume of sample has been added and that membrane wicking has occurred correctly.

Clinical Performance

The clinical performance of the Green Spring ® SARS-CoV-2 antigen rapid test was determined in prospective,randomized, single-blind studies. A total of 310 nasopharyngeal specimens from symptomatic and asymptomatic patients were collected within 5 days of the onset of initial symptoms. The performance of the kit was compared with the results of a commercially available molecular test. The test was found to have a sensitivity of 98% and a specificity of 100.00%. The accuracy is 99.35%.

Instructions for use

Test performance

After sample collection, perform the following tests:
1. Insert the swab sample into the extraction tube and immerse it up and down in the liquid. Rotate the swab several times during this process.
2. Squeeze the side of the tube while removing the cotton swab for extraction
Liquid remaining in the swab.
3. Place the dropper tip firmly on the extraction tube and mix the liquid
thorough.
4. Add 3 drops (approximately 100 μL) to the test sample well
Glue the tape to the tape through the tip of the dropper.
5. Interpret the test results after 15 minutes. Do not interpret results after 20 minutes.

Storage and stability

Store tests in airtight foil bags at room temperature or refrigerated (2 - 30"C). Tests are stable until expiration date. Test cartridges should be kept in airtight foil bags until use. Do not freeze. Do not use after expiration date. Keep Keep away from sunlight, humidity and heat sources.
