The operating principle of square piezoelectric ceramic transformers is based on the piezoelectric effect of piezoelectric ceramics. When the piezoelectric ceramic is subjected to external forces, its internal positive and negative charge centers will be displaced relative to each other, thereby generating a potential difference, that is, the piezoelectric effect. Conversely, when an applied electric field acts on the piezoelectric ceramic, it also produces mechanical deformation. In transformers, this effect is used to convert the input mechanical energy into electrical energy, or electrical energy into mechanical energy.
