MIG welding has a number of advantages over most other forms of welding. It's a very simple process to learn, the equipment is easy to use, and it can be done anywhere. MIG welding almost never requires making any changes to your work area and as long as you have electricity there will be enough shielding gas for the arc to be created.
The MIG welding process uses a wire feed to feed solid filler wire to the weld joint.
