What is edge lit letter sign board?

A term which refers to how light is produced from side of a dimensional letter or logo. Like a standard channel letters, edge-lit letter sign is a popular item. This type of lettering garners its popularity through a unique lighting effect. At night, light emits through the back of a letter which produces a glow, giving it the name edge-lit. This lighting effect is achieved by spacking a letter 1'' to 1-1/2'' from a background surface. During the day, an edge-lit letter has a comparable benefit. In daylight, a reverse channel is seen as one color which makes for a very clean look.

An Edge-lit letter may be spacified with a nature metal color appreance or with a brushed or polished finish. Other options for color include paint and finish. as well as optional fabrication finishes with a special features. A patina finish in teal or rust color are also available.

Edge-lit Letter Sign Mounting Steps

1. Attach the 1:1 mounting template onto wall or any areas you want install the sign.

2. Find the drill holes on the template, drill 4mm dia holes in according depth.

3. Fill the holes with a little bit silicone glues to strength the screws will is about to push into it.

4. Mount each screws on the backside of the letter and signs.

5. Pull out the wires from each letter to a place where you want connect it. Push the screws of each letter and sign into the holes where you have drilled previously;

6. Connect the wires to the power supply 12v output side.

7. Plug in the power socket to test working.
