1. Acrylic light guide plate Engraving process classifications
1. According to the forming method, the light guide plate is
divided into: cutting forming and injection forming. Cutting and
forming: the optical grade PMMA original plate is finished through
the cutting process to complete the finished product; injection
forming: the optical grade PMMA particles are injected into the
mold with high temperature and high pressure by using an injection
molding machine to cool and form.
2. The light guide plate is divided into direct light and side
light (lamp tube and LED) according to the light incident method.
Direct type: place the illuminant (light tube or LED) under the
light guide plate. Side light type: place the illuminant (light
tube or LED) on the side of the light guide plate.
3. The light guide plate is divided into non-printing and printing
according to the way of making the dots. Non-printing type: The
dots are directly formed on the reflective surface when the light
guide plate is formed. It is further divided into chemical
engraving (Etching), precision mechanical characterization (V-cut),
light lithography (Stamper), and internal diffusion. Printing:
After the light guide plate is processed, the dots are printed on
the reflective surface by printing, which is divided into IR and
UV.

3. Clear Acrylic Light Guide Plate Process
By shape
Flat plate: The light guide plate is rectangular when viewed from
the place where the light enters.
Wedge-shaped plate: also known as the inclined plate, from the
point of view of the light, one side is thick and the other is thin
into a wedge (triangle) shape.
By outlets
Printing: After the light guide plate is processed, the dots are
printed on the reflective surface by printing, which is divided
into IR and UV.
Non-printing type: The dots are directly formed on the reflective
surface when the light guide plate is formed. It is further divided
into chemical etching (Etching), precision mechanical
characterization (V-cut), photolithography (Stamper), and internal
diffusion.
According to incoming light
Side light type: place the illuminant (light tube or LED) on the
side of the light guide plate.
Direct type: place the illuminant (light tube or LED) under the
light guide plate.
By forming
Injection molding: use an injection molding machine to inject
optical grade PMMA particles into the mold with high temperature
and high pressure to cool and form.
Cutting and forming: The optical grade PMMA original board is cut
to complete the finished product.
4. What is the relationship between the acrylic light guide plate
and the acrylic plate?
The light guide plate is made of optical-grade acrylic sheet, and
then uses high-tech materials with extremely high reflectivity and
no light absorption to print light-guiding points on the bottom
surface of the optical-grade acrylic sheet with UV screen printing
technology.
The main material of the acrylic light guide plate is optical
acrylic plate. The quality of the acrylic light guide plates
currently produced is also different due to the different processes
of different manufacturers. In particular, although the price of
the recycled board is cheap, it is easy to yellow and the light
transmittance is also poor. The production of acrylic light guide
plate should not be easy to yellow and transmit light. Transparent
board with a rate of 92%-93%.
At present, the light guide plates on the market are made of two
materials: acrylic sheet and PC sheet. However, the most common
light guide plate is made of acrylic board material. There are
fewer light guide plates made of PC board material, and they have
to be specially customized, and not every manufacturer of light
guide plates does it.

7. Package and shipping
7.1. One piece of acrylic sheet package: double-sided covered with kraft paper or PE film, the cover film does not have any LOGO of our company.
7.2. Tray package: the total weight of each pallet is about 2 tons, the bottom is wooden pallet or iron pallet, and the surrounding is packed with corrugated paper.
7.3. The packaging method of the whole container: 20-23 tons (about 3000 pieces) 20-foot container, 10-12 pallets.
