Pearl Pigment is a glossy pigment. Non-toxic, tasteless, acid and
alkali resistant, non-flammable, non-explosive, non-conductive,
non-migratory, easy to disperse, with high heat resistance (900
degrees) and weather resistance, fully in line with strict
environmental requirements.
How to mix pearlescent powder with color
Gravure printing mainly uses low viscosity liquid ink. Pearlescent pigments should be prepared with high transparency binder (resin) and transparent diluent with good printing adaptability. When preparing color ink, different kinds of color ink should be selected according to different paper. White card and white board paper should choose pigments, and PET composite paper should choose dye pigments. Pigments and pearlescent powder can be mixed, generally not more than 20% of the pearlescent powder. If the tone is too heavy, the pearlescent effect will be affected, because pearlescent pigments can only have special light interference function in the light-rich ink layer, and excessive use of other colored pigments will cause a large number of pearlescent light loss.
