The EC type oil seal has a well-designed structure. It consists of a main sealing lip that is precision machined for optimum fit to the rotating shaft. Next to the main sealing lip, a secondary sealing lip provides additional protection against contaminants such as dust and debris. The metal housing of the oil seal provides structural support and stability. Rubber Material: Sealing lips are mainly made of high quality rubber such as Nitrile (NBR), Fluoroelastomer (FKM) NBR has good oil resistance and heat resistance up to 120°C. FKM has excellent heat resistance up to 250°C and excellent oil resistance.
